AMELIA / BATAVIA / UNION TWP

AMELIA is an eastern suburb of Cincinnati, with a population of 5,172.  Located in Western Clermont County,  Amelia is a traditional suburb with a mix of suburban developments and country homes.  West Clermont is the local school district, it has state of the art facilities including a community health plex & center on campus.  Many of the school buildings are new or being rebuilt to accommodate the growing population. Amelia residents enjoy the convenience of many restaurants, groceries & retailers within minutes of their homes.  The community has a public library and multiple parks.  It is also in close proximity to East Fork State Park which offers camping, hiking, horseback riding, and boating.

 

BATAVIA is an eastern suburb of Cincinnati with a population of 1,818. Batavia is the county seat of Clermont County.  There is a quaint downtown with county buildings, shops, and restaurants.  Those living in downtown Batavia enjoy a walkable lifestyle with parks, churches, and downtown accessible via sidewalks.  Batavia has a mix of newer suburban developments, historic homes, and homes with sprawling land.  Batavia Local Schools serve the area.  Their facilities are relatively new with new bond issues recently passed to continue the upgrade of the campus.  A portion of the Little Miami River runs through Batavia and there are multiple parks and nature preserves for hiking.

 

UNION TOWNSHIP located east of Cincinnati with a population of 47,510. Union Township located in Western Clermont County is the home of West Clermont High School & Middle School, the largest school district in the county.  Three other school districts also serve the residents of Union Township - Batavia Local Schools, Clermont Northeastern Schools, and Milford Schools.  It has been voted one of the best places to live in Ohio. Union Township is densely suburban with a booming retail climate.  It is home to many manufacturing companies as well as retail & restaurant establishments.  Union township has a civic center and a multitude of parks. It is home to many young professionals and families.  It has easy access to major highways for commuters.
